“Redeemed” – Collage with Weathered Papers
Collage 9 x 6″ on 14 x 11″ Archival Paper
This one literally almost created itself. The base of the image is part of a textural painting on 300# Arches Watercolor paper. The other papers adhered to this piece in various ways. Some of them have been peeled away to reveal this nature collage. Originally there must have been ten or twelve layers of a variety of papers stacked and weathered together.
Since this is Friday, that means tomorrow will be more Saturday Finds!

And thank you, Lisa, for stopping by and commenting. Glad you like this.
Love artistic “accidents”. Love the layers and textures.
Gypsy, I love artistic accidents too. These have had a lot of surprising effects. I’ve really enjoyed seeing where they lead.
Its impressive what nature can do and then with your deft touch, voila! well done martha!
This is such a cool series Martha – all that waiting for nature to do its thing with the papers paid off. And I think the title is inspired!
Yummy….
Good eye, kid.
