About
I’m a full time gallery-represented professional artist. This blog is a collection of my influences, experiments, and other electic pursuits.
I provide commission work for the corporate design trade and work with fine art publishers, art consultants, and art specifiers for a variety of large scale projects.
Please contact me if you are interested in a quote for a commission for original art for your residential or commercial project. I will work with your color concepts and provide digital studies for your consideration.
I am seeking additional gallery representation.

Hi –
I love your work, and was just wondering what exactly you use to work with…? Acrylic, oil, etc… An then what you paint on. Is that just thick canvas or a panel of some sort?
Thank you, and all the best!
Bee
Hello Bee – nice to have you here. I paint in acrylics exclusively. I am impatient and want things to dry right now if not sooner! My supports are either canvas or cradled panels.
Hello,
I’ve been enjoying reading your posts on collages. I am a VERY amateur artist who occasionally likes to get my hands dirty for fun, and I’d really like to try more collage work–do you have any recommendations for beginners? Any how-to books or websites, or places to go for affordable supplies?
Thank you and looking forward to reading more!
Well, gradland, two words of warning — be careful. Collage can become an addiction. Other than that, the sky is really the limit. If your art has cut paper and/or fabric adhered to the surface, it’s collage. For ideas and inspiration, I would start by viewing as many collage how-to videos as possible on YouTube. Theres an amazing array of them just by searching for “collage.”
Also, here are links to some great collage artists. I have attended workshops conducted by the first two on the list.

And please don’t forget to come back and let us know where we can see some of your experiments!
Hi again,
I’m going to be spending a weekend in Tampa in October and was wondering if you could tell me some of your favorite galleries/museums there . Of course, I plan to go to Michael Murphy so I can see some of your works in person. I see that the Tampa Museum of Art is closed, so I hope I won’t be missing anything good.
We are going for my husband’s firm retreat, so I always make sure to get in an afternoon of art as a break from all the business mingling. Any tips will be greatly appreciated!
