Studio Before but Not After
January 9, 2013
This is how my studio looked after I began turning it upside down for a complete cleanout. It was time, even if I weren’t getting ready for classes. The hardest part was starting. It seemed overwhelming, but it really wasn’t as bad as it looked. Thank God for big plastic tubs!
I will post the “after” pictures as soon as I get it all set up as a classroom. I’m looking forward to this and so glad my local friends pushed me to do it.

Wish you were here, Margaret!!
Looking good:))
Thanks, Shirley. It’s coming along!
Martha, the problem with those tubs is that they become ‘anonymous’ and the search begins!
Yes, Annette – that is a problem, except I do label them, and keep the same one in the same spot at all times so I’ll remember what’s supposed to be inside. Lots of them are the clear-ish ones, which also helps.
Cleaning up would be hard, so many lovely distractions.
Cath, I’ve managed to stay focused most of the time! If I see something I’d really like to take my time looking through, I say “nope, don’t have time now.” 🙂
This is very exciting, good luck and keep us posted to how it goes, I am sure it will be wonderful 🙂 xx
Thanks, Ella! I will.
I am working on reorganization too…but today I just needed to sit and quilt…there is always another day!@ Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
That sounds like such a Zen kind of day, Mary Helen. We need those sometimes.
