Hand Painted Deli Papers
This is a new collage using a piece of my hand painted recycled deli papers, magazine papers, and Washi paper.
I still love admiring the papers as they are, but have finally been able to rip into them. Besides, there are always more where those came from.
The black Washi paper with the little gold threads is beautiful in its own right too.
Tonight will be below freezing, so on top of everything else we’ve been doing, we built little PVC A-frames for over the broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprout beds and draped frost cloth over that. The plants are now tucked in nice and snug for the night. The broccoli is about ten days from being ready to cut and is beautiful. By now we are too invested in its success to just let it freeze.
We still have plenty of lettuce. I’m not too worried about it. I’ve pulled up about eight heads, root ball and all, and have those in a plastic tub and will keep them damp. They will keep for several weeks until we can use them.
