Last Two Collages from Scrolls Series
I am showing these two collages because they’re the last of the current series for a while. They are available in my collage Etsy shop. Today I packed and shipped seven collages to a wonderful collector. It’s always so gratifying to know that someone likes your work enough to want to have it for their own.
Before and After Challenge
I will continue to post little reminders about the proposed Before and After Challenge to give everyone an opportunity to participate. If I don’t get any takers at all, I’ll just keep putting up progress pictures of my new/old painting (also shown in yesterday’s post.) I have another one that was very similar to that one, the same size canvas, that I’ll be painting over as well. I’m so glad I started work on the painting. It definitely was a good decision.
These are beautiful – really enjoy the palette & texture here. Great to see artist doing abstract/color field collage.
Chris, I’m so happy you stopped by. I hope my readers will click on your link to see some of your fabulous work. Don’t be a stranger.
I’ve been keeping a watchful eye on you over at Twitter. =)
Thanks for your kind words!
Hi Martha,
I am enjoying you work so much. I am interested in the before and after challenge. What exactly do you need from me?? Images of the befores?? then progress images.
thanks
Lottie, thanks for being the first brave soul to chime in! And thanks for your kind words about my work.
The before and after challenge is very loose and open-ended. And yes, you’re right — images of your befores, durings, and afters! You can either email them to me with your narrative or put them up on your blog and send us your link in a comment on mine. I’ll then write it up in a regular blog post so that people will find it. I’ll keep it open for the next several weeks. All I want is for everyone to participate who wants to.
My email address is martha dot marshall at gmail dot com.
Thank you!!!
Martha
PS – I love your work!
Hi Martha, I really like the ‘ summer’ lightness of your scrolls.
Thank you, Eric!
