Art for Haiti
Inner Landscape – Original Abstract Acrylic Painting on Paper
(Click here to purchase. All proceeds will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.)
If you are on Twitter, you may already know that many artists are offering portions of the proceeds from sale of their art to the Haiti relief effort. On Twitter, the search term to find all these wonderful artists and their offerings is #art4haiti.
In that spirit, today I decided to designate several of my pieces in my Etsy shop for the cause. If you click on the above link to my shop, you will see a shop section titled “art4haiti” where I have featured nine items for donation. In addition, I’ve added that keyword to the titles of each one that I’m offering. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of my art4haiti items will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund.
If you are on Twitter and were not aware of this, you might like to participate in whatever way that you can.
Martha thank you for this information. I have been off-line due to a power outage following high winds in our area. I would likely have missed this great way to contribute.
By the way, love the tones and colours of your inner landscape.
Terrill
Terrill, so sorry about your offline state. That’s no fun! If you do decide to offer art for sale for Haiti relief, just tweet it with #art4haiti in your update. Make sure @cbjfoto sees it because he is retweeting all the ones he knows about.
fantastic post & a good cause!
Stacey, thanks for your comment and encouragement! I’m thrilled that two pieces have sold just since I posted this late yesterday. All I have to do is ship them out to the collector and send my donations in.
Fantastic Martha! Two sales for Art for Haiti. This is awesome:)))))
Thanks, Terrill. Pretty exciting indeed. I hope you get some too.
What a generous contribution Martha and I too love your inner landscape – the gentle soft colours do really seem an expression of your own lovely “inner landscape”. I’m not of a standard to sell my art but have donated through one of the charities I support. Just wish they could get the aid there sooner.
I know, Sandra. That is the agonizing part. I saw last night that they have at least done a partial repair to the port so that ships can get there. My heart goes out to the people of Haiti.
Great piece and an important cause. Best to you.
Thank you, Sondra.
Fabulous! It feels great to be helping in this small way. When cash may not be abundant, we artists can share our talents instead.
