Works In Progress, Painting One

November 16, 2009

Here is the current state of Painting One in the series of five paintings in progress.

After – State 3 or 4 or . . .

Before – State 2 or 3

The “before” picture was not a great one, but it gives you an idea of the progress of this painting. The “after” version feels like it’s finished.  As Emeril says, it feels “happy happy happy!”

I’m really enjoying the ‘final’ (if that is the first image). I think it would look spectacular horizontal, I’m stuck here tilting my head hehe.

Scott, you are correct. That’s the “final” or so-called final. My viewers are always welcome to turn the paintings any way they like. I see how it might be reminiscent of landscape if turned 90 degrees clockwise.

      Thanks for visiting and commenting!
