More Grunge Textures

Old Storage Silo Closeup
These images are a treasure trove for me. These are crops. If I zoom in even more, I get even more inspiration . . .
And if you’d like to see some more great urban textures, take a look at Chris Bellinger’s blog post today.
I hope your week will be inspiring as well.
And just a little update on the privacy fence out back — it’s done! And the dogs are in heaven. If you are new to reading this blog, we had to erect a privacy fence inside of our chain link fence only along the back, because of some really aggressive dogs behind us. There are dogs on the two sides, but they are nice and are getting to know ours.

Thanks for the link Martha forgot a couple of other shots will let you know when published as they will be appearing on my scrapbook blog!
Nice that the dogs can roma around and it looks a nice area you have there like all the photos!
Chris I’m looking forward to more pictures. And yes, the dogs are so happy, which makes me happy because they’re much better behaved when tired!!
Wow, that’s inspiring Martha – looking at the abstract in everyday sights.
Great work.
That back ‘yard’ – what a huge fun place for the dogs! I wouldn’t want to be the one to cut the grass though. Heh…
Have a great day Martha.
Thanks Sherrill — as for the mowing, we are getting a riding mower. A must out here in the country!
Hi Martha,
Great to see images that you have posted. I would like to share my works with you and you can see them out in my website http://www.mashiul.com. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
mashiul
I am pleased the fence is done Martha – at least you can relax now knowing your babies are safe.
Cath, you just don’t know. They are so much more content, and so am I.
What an artist nature is if you just let her do…
Eva . . . yes!
Very pleased for you about the protection from those nasty dogs. Glad your babies have some nice doggy neighbours. Went to a lovely workshop on Sunday about inspiration for painting, small interactive group, I was the only abstract painter. Really enjoyable and fun. I’ve put up your collage preparation one as my background as it has given me inspiration for the composition for a colour study I want to do.
Sandra, I’m envious of your workshop day. I need one! Glad you’re inspired and hope you have fun with your color study.
The rust is always what sparks my imagination… I’m drawn to it.
