Brava Meeting Today

May 1, 2009

Sorry to have missed checking in with you all yesterday. It’s always busy when we get back from a trip. The work just waits for me until I come home, and so I’m behind on some things. We do have to keep our house always ready to show, and this Sunday is another open house.

And this morning I have a Brava meeting, which is always a welcome break, and always a way to get creatively inspired. I know what will happen — I’ll come home just wanting to spend the rest of the day doing art! I can’t wait to see what all the other artists have been up to.

Here is another one of my fun pieces. I hope you like it.

Martha, I am really liking your latest creations, which seem to be quite a departure from previous directions you have taken. Good luck on your open house, I dread those that are in my future.

Yes, Mary. I need to confess in my blog that it was a suggestion by the gallery owner to see how people would respond to the new direction, with the thought in mind of bringing some new collectors who might be able to picture them in their kids’ rooms.

      This house limbo sucks.

Ooh! This is a fun one! Can’t wait to see a bunch hung together!

In fact, Candy, I haven’t seen them on the wall yet. I want to go down to the gallery and take a look soon!

This is tempting to touch it. If you expose it to an audience, you will get it back with patina.
