New Paintings for Key West Art Bar

January 13, 2009

Today I have spent most of my time finishing up and preparing a few new pieces for Key West Art Bar. My goal is to get them to the post office today.

I’m glad they have asked for more of the little baby ones, 4 x 4″ gallery wrap canvases. I love doing them. They also need more of the 8″ boxes,

Here are the small ones that I will choose from to send.

I think you’ll agree that the studies I did last week were a help.

Leslie – that is exactly what I dream about when painting small. It’s not an easy thing to do. I love seeing paintings in which you can’t guess the scale.

Cath, so glad you like these. I know you like working in this format too. I’m looking at two of your little beauties as we speak! 😉

Thanks Mary – I once sold a grid of nine of them at once. Another person bought five that I had attached in a row. To me, the more the merrier.

Cheryl – maybe it’s even harder. I seem to “fiddle” over the little ones more than I would a big canvas.

Sandra, that is nice to hear. I agree that we all could use a little color right now.

Glad you like them, Joyce! Hope you’re all better from your flu bug.

These are wonderfully alive. They are probably allow the collector to versify their use in decoration as well.

    Great work.

    Love ’em!
Especially diggin’ the top row, and vertically, the 3rd row.

Inspiring! A local frame/canvas supplier had their “buy one, get second for $.01 sale… and now I have several somewhat smallish canvases. Will keep up thumbnails and do a bunch-in-a-batch!

I love getting your comments, so please don't be shy! Your feedback is valued.
