Haiku 51 And Election Day

November 4, 2008

“Haiku 51”
Acrylic on Cradled Panel
8 x 8 x 2″

My work has been interrupted since the last pieces were delivered on Saturday, due to a lot of time spent with the election. Today is the day, and I will be outside the polling place along with many other volunteers, just watching and being there to help anyone who may be having voting problems. We will offer chairs, ice, water, and maybe a snack or two.

We will soon know the direction of our country for the next four years. I am cautiously optimistic. But whatever happens, the whole world will be watching.

Hi, I just have to say I think your work is beautiful. I have also looked at older postings of your artwork, and page after page I was delighted – wish I could buy them all!

Chris, thank you. I know how you’ve followed this, and it bodes well for all of us I think.

Pam, I appreciate that so much! Please don’t be a stranger.

Sheree, it’s tomorrow now!!! I’m a happy person.

John, I don’t know. That one was pretty close to the foreground in the picture I showed earlier. And it didn’t change appreciably, so could be!

    Awww, thanks Catherine!

I love getting your comments, so please don't be shy! Your feedback is valued.
