“Ritual 14″ – Acrylic on Cradled Panel, 8 x 8 x 2″
Another one with a limited palette in neutral colors. Lots of texture and buildup on this one, paint skins included. I hope you like this one. The black passage sort of drops out in this picture. But it’s deeply embedded in clear gel, as is the rest of the painting. The white on white swirls are buried deeply underneath clear layers. It makes me think of land forms, melting glaciers, and tectonic plates.
This painting is available at Michael Murphy Gallery in Tampa, Florida.

Big thing! Could be 80×80 as well. Figure I’m in a galery or museum, standing there. Looking. … what time is it? What is time?
Eva, I’m thrilled at your response to this. Maybe I will make it big . . . ?
I was just at Michael Murphy this week & enjoyed viewing your pieces
Thanks for letting me know, Stacey. Glad you liked them. I miss being able to visit the gallery any time I like. It’s always fun there.
I would love to see this one in person! Love the limited palette.
Seth, this is one of the ones that happened after struggling with other beginnings. I realized I had to do something drastic, and ended up completely covering what was there before. I’m so glad I did!
I love this piece
Thank you, Pam!
I really like the limited palette. I think I sometimes use too many colors, thinking I need to in order to create interest. I’m going to try using more a limited palette. Your work is always so inspirational.
Jackie, I’m so fickle. I love both an excessive palette and a limited palette.
