Yesterday I spent the afternoon picking up two large paintings from a local restaurant where they’d been hanging for over four years. Now they have remodeled and need smaller works that will fit in here and there. Because my work is in a local gallery, I needed to get them home anyway.
From there I went to Michael Murphy Gallery to photograph some work that I had delivered at the last minute last time around. I hate letting work go out without a proper photograph.
That was my afternoon. But I did get a mother lode of new pictures. Here’s one from the Rituals Series.

Ritual 3, Acrylic Abstract Painting on Cradled Panel8 x 8 x 2″
Note: Do not do this. Learn from my mistakes. Photograph and document your work before it leaves your studio. Now you know why I’m working ahead right now.

Boy Marsha, that’s the truth – especially if you’ve got glass on anything – shoot, then deliver! – I’m liking the color on this piece..

Mary, thanks! The texture was a sad-then-happy accident. I’ll say no more.
Ohhh yeah, Jeane. Glass demands planning ahead for sure.
