“Beyond Space and Time”
Triptych, Acrylic on Canvas, 48 x 84″
SOLD
This is a triptych that I did five years ago. It sold soon after, so all I have is an image on CD, which I happened across this morning. It’s nice to put things away sometimes and not look at them for a while. I like it better now than when I painted it.
I plan to do more of these large colorful abstracts on canvas. The big blue one (36 x 60″) is the first in a long while. It’s still a work in progress.

I think that piece is breathtaking. I can only imagine how vivid it must be in person.

“like it better now than when I painted it.”
For some reason when I read your statement listed above, I thought about something I tell people all the time. I do our school yearbook. I have teachers and associates complaining about there yearbook photos all the time. I tell them “Don’t complain about your picture or what you look like right now. Believe me in ten years, you will look back and think you looked spectacular (comparatively)!!!”
LOL LOL LOL

John, thank you – I hope it’s still being loved in its forever home.
Sheree, you are so right! Something very important to remember.

Martha,
You’ve been art ‘tagged’ at my blog and I hope you’ll find this a compliment. You have a very insightful, informative and inspirational blog.
I don’t know if you’ll have the time to visit, see how this works, and respond, but I wanted to let you know how very much your work means to me.
This work is spectacular.

Reminds me of the Huey Lewis song from Back to the Future.

Thank you Melinda – I decided to take up your challenge! Check out the next post.
Hey Jason – I actually thought of Back to the Future as a possible title for the blog post.
