Hello Martha,
I’ve never had the chance to really appreciate the beauty of a collage until now. I’m quite taken, actually. I see hope flowing from bottom all the way to those dancing happy feet at the top. The pastel colors give us a sense of peace and harmony.

Vikki – Thank you. I enjoyed doing the piece itself, even though the concept was hard to get my arms around. I guess that’s what challenges are for, right?

Wonderful collage of soft spirited colors. I especially like the feather, it really added an element of texture to your idea.

Your right, hope is not a pipe dream, it is now a form of faith. No longer “hope and faith” but now there is a feeling of “faith in hope”.

Thanks for sharing this challenge with us – in addition to a wonderful collage we get to experience the words about hope you’ve offered. I particularly resonated with the idea that with our recent political choices we have repudiated the politics of fear. I suppose if one asked what the opposite of fear is, “hope” would be a very good answer.
