This is one of the canvases I destroyed back in the spring. It truly had suffered a lot of wear and tear in my studio, and the back of the canvas was beyond cleaning. It had a wonderful texture, and I always was happy with the colors. My decision to sacrifice the painting was partly due to the fact that I have a professional high resolution scan of it. That means it can live on forever in the form of prints. I have had prints made of it and they turn out great. I also have little pieces of the painting to incorporate into other works.
